Myriam's Dream is a nonprofit organization founded by a national group of dedicated volunteers who support and strengthen the vision of Myriam Mendilow in Israel and around the world. It is modeled after a similar effort in Israel.
Originally established in Ventnor in 1988, the Bookbindery moved to its Atlantic City location in 1999. The Bookbindery trains older adults in the skilled craft of repairing and rebinding books.
The volunteers of the Bookbindery have lovingly repaired and restored tens of thousands of books for schools, synagogues, churches and individuals. They have restored Bibles, Family Bibles, medical journals, cookbooks, prayer books, hymnals, textbooks, manuscripts and much more.
